Respect

There have been so many times in my life that I was looking for respect from people because they seemed important. For example, ministers or teachers. I was reading a new book, Launching A Leadership Revolution by Chris Brady and Orrin Woodward, and there were some paragraphs on respect. Paraphrased....don't look for respect from people we don't respect!!!! Earn respect from those we respect such as our mentors. This resonated with me. So, who do you respect? Have they earned your respect? Are you earning their respect?

Have a great Holiday. This is a special time of year when we can reflect on giving, receiving, renewal, and gratitude. Look at all of the beautiful lights and be reminded that you are the light and you are the gift!
